47-year-old woman passed away days after learning she had diabetes, doctor warns this spice is the reason
Diabetes is a very dangerous disease that more and more people are suffering from. If you do not abstain from eating and drinking, it is very easy to lose your life.
Nowadays, diabetes is becoming extremely common, especially not only in the elderly but also in young people. However, many people are really subjective or do not realize the dangers of the disease.
Look no further than my mother-in-law, she has had diabetes for more than 5 years but is always confident that she is fine, just needs to go to the hospital to measure her blood sugar once a month.
However, recently, I read an article about a young woman who passed away from diabetes. I share it here for everyone to know and be vigilant.
The unfortunate woman mentioned above is Zhou Liang (47 years old, in China, name has been changed), a worker at a local textile factory. When she was young, Liang was the factory beauty and was pursued by many people. After getting married, she had a stable and happy life.
However, recently, Liang’s condition suddenly became very bad, she couldn’t get up all day, and her weight also dropped a lot. Seeing this, everyone advised Liang to go to the hospital for a check-up.
After being examined by a doctor and having tests done, the results showed that she was in the final stage of diabetes, and not even insulin could save her.
That meant that she had actually had diabetes for a long time but didn’t know it. The disease had progressed silently, but because she never went to the doctor, she didn’t pay attention.
When he heard that his wife had this dangerous disease, Liang’s husband was extremely shocked. He squatted right at the hospital gate and cried because he couldn’t accept the fact that a normal person like his wife could have such a dangerous disease.
Although the doctors tried their best to save Ms. Liang, because her diabetes was in the late stages, she eventually passed away at the age of 47.
To find out why a 47-year-old woman like Ms. Liang had diabetes and died, the doctors analyzed Ms. Liang’s daily eating habits and preferences and discovered that it was a spice in the kitchen that was causing her harm.
According to her family, Ms. Liang loved to cook, and one of her favorite spices was soy sauce. It seemed like she added soy sauce to every dish, and even poured more for dipping at mealtimes.
Soy sauce is a spice made from soybeans, wheat, and raw grain water, which is very good for the body. However, because it contains a lot of salt, using too much can cause the absorption of too much sodium ions, which can lead to unstable blood sugar.
And because the amount of insulin secreted is not enough, the glucose in the body cannot be used. When they accumulate in large amounts in the body, they will leak into the blood, thereby causing blood sugar levels to become higher.
Through the above story, doctors have warned to eat less than 3 types of food to avoid diabetes complications
High sugar foods
Foods such as soft drinks, candies, fruits (lychees, longans, watermelons …), dried fruits … contain a very high sugar content, when entering the body will cause the insulin content to become increasingly deficient and blood sugar levels will become more and more difficult to control.
Refined grains
Most of the vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein in cereal grains are lost after being processed into refined grain products. Therefore, refined grains have a high glycemic index, when absorbed into the body will cause blood sugar levels to increase rapidly, at the same time requiring the body to produce more insulin hormone. This leads to the risk of diabetes.
High-Fat Meats and Dairy Products
High-fat meats and dairy products are a source of saturated fat – a bad fat that increases the risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease. According to the American Diabetes Association, saturated fat intake should be limited to no more than 7% of total daily calories to avoid the risk of diabetes.
– Meats high in saturated fat include: beef tenderloin, lamb, pork chops, dark poultry, organ meats, fried chicken and processed foods such as sausages, cold cuts, bacon.
– High-fat dairy products include: whole milk, cream, heavy cream, butter and cheeses, such as cheddar (a thick cheese).
