Family says mom, 2 children killed in eastern Arizona murder-suicide

PIMA, AZ (AZFamily) — A mother and her two young children were killed in a murder-suicide last week in the small town of Pima, about an hour southeast of Globe.
Pima police found four family members dead inside a home after responding to a call for a medical situation. Police said someone in the home killed the family members and then took their own life.
Breana Flores, a family member, identified the victims as 31-year-old Justice Jones and her children, 8-year-old Tyme and 9-year-old Kyle. Justice’s father, Duane Jones, also died in the incident.
Flores said police told her family that Justice’s father committed the act.
“I just hope that all of them … I hope they were asleep, and no one had to see anything happen to the others and didn’t have to experience any type of fear before it happened,” Flores said.
Flores, who is from Tucson, came to Phoenix to help the children’s father grieve and make funeral arrangements. She created a GoFundMe to help with expenses.
“My family doesn’t know of any mental health concerns with him. We’re assuming so because anyone with sane mind this isn’t something that you do,” Flores said.
Flores said she found a post from Justice on social media the night before she died.
“She put a post on Facebook and just said ‘good night’ with the weird slant emoji so it was evident that something was going on,” Flores said.
She said Kyle and Tyme were always together. An art teacher who worked with the children reached out to say they were incredible kids with a bright future.
