Missing woman found deceased in Hardin Co
HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced that Joann McWilliams, 88, was found deceased in Hardin County.
Law enforcement pulled a vehicle out of the Tennessee River at the Saltillo boat ramp Friday morning. According to the Hardin County sheriff, it “appears to be her (McWilliams)”.
A Silver Alert was issued on behalf of Dickson Police Department for McWilliams after she had last been seen on October 5 in Lexington, Tennessee. She was driving a white 2020 Buick Encore Sport.
McWilliams had a medical condition that caused law enforcement and loved ones to be concerned that it would impair her ability to return home safely.
No additional details have been released at this time.
