In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar published in April 2026, Portman revealed that she and her partner, French music producer Tanguy Destable, were preparing to welcome their third child together.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” Portman said. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”
The actor said growing up with a fertility doctor as a parent gave her an early understanding of the emotional and physical challenges many people face when trying to conceive.
