With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of this wonderful singer – how she died at just 26 is truly heartbreaking

Singer-songwriter Camryn Magness, who rose to prominence touring with major pop acts in the 2010s, has died at the age of 26. She was known for performing alongside artists such as One Direction, Cody Simpson, Greyson Chance, and Fifth Harmony.

Magness died on December 5 after being critically injured in an electric scooter accident in Miami Beach. Police responded to a collision involving an electric mobility scooter and a pedestrian, and those involved were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where Camryn later died from her injuries.

Her death was announced publicly on December 9 through her official Facebook page, accompanied by a video reflecting her love of adventure. Her family later confirmed that there would be no public memorial service.

Born with a passion for music, Camryn began her career at just eight years old after sending a demo to a future manager. She gained early attention through YouTube and collaborations that led to growing recognition within the pop music scene.

In 2010, she opened for Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson on tour, and in 2012 reached a major milestone by joining One Direction as an opening act on their Up All Night Tour. She later returned to tour with the band again in 2013.

Camryn often spoke fondly of those experiences, saying they helped her build confidence, friendships, and a devoted fan base. Over the years, she released multiple singles and continued touring with prominent pop groups.

In 2016, she opened for Fifth Harmony on their 7/27 Tour. Her most recent release, the Love Maps EP in 2021, revealed a more mature and introspective musical style.

Camryn is survived by her parents, siblings, and her fiancé, Christian. Her family described her as fearless and kind, and her legacy lives on through her music and the many lives she touched.
